La Maison des Grands Bambous in Cognac country, offers three Self-Catering cottages, excellent Bed and Breakfast and Tqble d’Hote dining with heated pool and jacuzzi. 

Relax in the tranquil one and a half acre garden, or have a cool drink in the bar by the pool and jacuzzi area.  Dinner is available (by reservation) to all guests, using fruit and vegetables from the garden and local produce.

Open all year we do mid-week and weekend short breaks out of high season and do visits to small local distilleries to find a cognac to suit individual tastes.

We are within easy reach of Cognac (20 mins), Saintes (35 mins), Angouleme (35 mins), Royan (50 mins), La Rochelle (70 mins), Poitiers (70 mins), Bordeaux (95 mins) where you can find beaches, golf, fishing,  seafood, cognac, wine, pineau the local speciality and much more.
